In the Spotlight

A group of Hakama women, who once inspired men to fight, are now rehearsing for a theatrical performance highlighting the need for peace and reconciliation. The performance took place at the Theatre of Kadugli and is a crucial part of the efforts of the United Nations Mission in the Sudan (UNMIS) to disarm, rehabilitate, and re-integrate the fighters of the militias.
